About us

सँस्थाको परिचय (Introduction)

यस साँग्रिला अर्फनेज होम बि.सं. २०५५ सालमा स्थापना भएको एक राष्ट्रिय स्तरको गैर सरकारी संस्था हो । यस संस्था गोविन्दा एसोसिएसन, जर्मनीको आर्थिक तथा प्राविधिक सहयोगमा सञ्चालन हँुदै आएको छ । बिशेषगरी अनाथ तथा असहाय बालबालिकाहरुलाई सहारा दिई उनीहरुको समग्र विकासमा योगदान दिने उद्देश्यले काठमाण्डौको तिलगंगा स्थित सानो घर भाडामा लिई ५ जना अनाथ तथा असहाय बालबालिकाहरुलाई लिएर शुरुवात गरी ललितपुरको बागडोल हुदै चापागाउको न्यौपाने गाउमा आफ्नो कार्यालय स्थापना गरी हाल विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरु सञ्चालन गर्दै आईरहेको छ । हाल यस संस्थाले १९ बर्षको अवधीमा अनाथ बालगृह ९इचउजबलबनभ ज्यmभ०, विद्यालय, छात्रबृत्ति, व्यवसायिक तालिम केन्द्र तथा युवा पुर्नस्थापना जस्ता बालबालिका केन्द्रित परियोजनाहरु सञ्चालन गर्दै आइरहेको छ । जोखिम अवस्थामा रहेका अनाथ तथा असहाय बालबालिकाहरुलाई सहारा दिई उनीहरुको सर्वाङ्गिण विकासमा सक्दो योगदान गर्नु यस संस्थाको मुख्य उद्देश्य रहेको छ ।

Mission

The primary mission of Shangri-La Orphanage Home (SOH) is to improve the living standards of orphaned and needy children by providing formal education, vocational training, healthcare, and child-centered initiatives.

Vision

To build a nurturing society where every child regardless of background, caste, or circumstance grows up in a safe, loving, and empowering environment. We envision a Nepal where no child is left without care, education, or opportunity, and where each one can realize their full potential as confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.

Goal

The goal of Shangri-La Orphanage Home (SOH) aims to provide a safe, nurturing home and holistic development opportunities for Orphan and needy children in Nepal, ensuring their access to education, healthcare, and life skills to become self-reliant, empowered individuals.

(साँग्रिलाको उद्देश्य)

Shangri-La and Govinda development aid association are busy to:
Build secured lives of orphans and provide free education to the very poor children of marginalized communities.
Give life skills and vocational training to make people self-reliant.
Integrate social classes to confirm equality among all living in the same society.
Raise the living conditions by working towards awareness-raising, gender, health, education and agriculture.
Support sustainable development by working towards cultural and technological transformation in ecological aspects.

साँग्रिलाको उद्देश्यहरु निम्नानुसार रहेका छन् ।

असहाय वालवालिकाको सुरक्षित जीवनको लागि कार्य गर्नु
स्वास्थ्य, पोषण, बास एवं शिक्षा र मनोरन्जनको व्यवस्था गर्नु
पछि पारिएका समुदायका वालवालिकाको लागि गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा एवं व्यवसायिक तालिम प्रदान गर्नु
समाजका हरेक बर्गमा सामाजिक समता र समन्वयताको लागि प्रयासरत रहनु
जनजागरण, लैंगिक समानता, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा र कृषि विकासमा संलग्न रहनु ।
साँस्कृतिक र पर्यावरणीय दृष्टिकोणले दिगोविकास कार्यमा टेवा पु¥याउनु
असहाय बालबालिकाको सुरक्षित जीवनको लागि कार्य गर्नु
उनीहरुको परिवार र समुदायमा उनीहरलाई पुनस्र्थापना गर्ने कार्यमा योजनाबद्धढंगले प्रयासरत रहनु र
होमका बालबालिकालाई आत्मनिर्भर आत्मसम्मानयोग्य र राष्ट्र निर्माणमा योगदान पु¥याउन सक्ने नागरिक तयार पार्नु ।

Our Way

The communities are directly involved in a participatory way in need identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of our projects through transparent resource raising, allocation and mobilization.
Nepalese teams and experts take full responsibility for management of running projects so that new focus is moved to the new target groups.
We see ourselves as supporters of the target groups fully emphasizing the understanding of international justice and equality.
We create internal evaluation and fair dialogue systems for common solutions of existing problems in the team.
We are convinced that the common regulation of tensions and divergent interests can be a path for long lasting success of the organisation and its target groups.
International child rights, human rights and millennium developmen goals are guidelines for our common work.
All our property and funds are budgeted, transparent and efficiently managed, approved and audited by independent sources.
