Shangri-la Orphanage Home (SOH) is a national-level Non-Governmental Organization established in the year 2058 B.S. (1998). It has been operating with financial and technical support from Govinda Association (GA), Germany.

The organization was founded with the primary objective of providing shelter to orphaned and needy children and contributing to their overall development. It initially┬а began by renting a small house at Tilganga, Kathmandu where it accommodated five orphaned and needy children. Over the time it expanded its operations, relocating from Bagdol, Lalitpur to Godavari-10, Neupanegaun, Lalitpur, in own building, from where various projects are being implemented.
